Trip skating
Good ice for trip skating is sadly not to be found every winter, but when it does exist, it is worth enjoying to the full. Marvellous landscapes can be discovered by travelling on the ice and your journey goes like lightning - an amazing experience! If the ice has been covered by snow, the feeling of trip skating can be achieved on ploughed tracks.
Trip skating requires shoes that offer good support for your ankles and have a thick sole. Trip skates have longer blades than normal skates, and that's why long journeys can be made so easily. The skates are adjusted so that your shoes are tightly attached to the blade from tip to heel.
