Our conference building in Purnus Jokilaakso

 

In the quiet of the countryside, organising meetings, client events and recreation days for your personnel is easy. Our brand-new conference building can hold groups of up to 30 people, and is equipped with a video projector and screen, flipcharts and Internet access. The sauna holds 10-15 people. There are marvellous views of Purnus Jokilaakso from the terrace. Meals cooked in our own kitchen can be organised anywhere - out in nature, on our terrace on the cliffs, in our spacious Lapp kota, by the Siuntio River or by the sea. Ask for our recommended menus or let us know your exact requirements. Energise your event! Purnus Jokilaakso is a great location for arranging group activities. Located just a short walk from the conference building, our adventure and experience track offers multiple challenges include stretching yourself on our Jacob’s Ladder and working out how to cross a chasm in the rocks. The range of outdoor activities is wide: all the way from canoeing and sea kayaking to cycling and hiking. Lodgings for conference participants

Comfortable cottage accommodation

Simpukka* and Saukko**, our two cottages in Purnus Jokilaakso, offer very comfortable overnight accommodation for up to six people. Both have a kitchen, living room (with a convertible sofa for two), two bedrooms, WC, shower room and sauna (total floor area 67 m²). (* Shell, ** Otter)

Each cottage has underfloor heating and a fireplace (heat-storage type), and an air heatpump for heating and cooling. Equipment includes a TV, radio/CD player, fridge-freezer, microwave and electric ovens, coffee machine and kettle, dishes and cutlery for eight people, a dishwasher and a vacuum cleaner. High-speed, always-on Internet access is provided and there is an external socket for heating your car engine or recharging an electric vehicle. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available if required.

Our spacious Lapp kota (a tepee that can hold up to 80 people), river and cliff terraces are also available.   Guests have easy access to forest paths, ski tracks, slopes for sledging, swimming places and stretches of river suitable for canoeing. Horseback riding can be arranged for people of all ages and our adventure track is only a short walk away. Conference programmes can include an extensive range of activities - we have plenty of suggestions!

Four kilometres away by road (less than two kilometres as the crow flies), the Siuntio Wellness & Conference Resort offers a variety of high-quality services and facilities (swimming pool, Day Spa, restaurant etc.).

Food for celebrations and expeditions 

Delightful food made with locally-sourced ingredients can be ordered from SE-Action for conferences or meetings - traditional country fare, stylish evening meals or something in between.
