SE-Action offers a range of environmentally-sound services to customers in and around the Helsinki metropolitan region.

Meetings and conferences are most successful when they are organised in a beautiful and peaceful environment and combined with pleasurable group activities. As our new facilities offer the opportunity to stay overnight, organising training weekends and similar sessions is easy.

The adventures and experiences we offer cover a wide range - a suitable programme can be found for every type of group, and if we don’t already have one, we create a new one.

Children of all ages will find something of interest: camping activities and our Fun Days offer schoolchildren an important arena for learning about working together.

Our speciality is creating occasions which encourage group members to have fun together. The activities don’t have to be ‘extreme’ - even though these are also available, frying pancakes over an open fire, trekking or canoeing through nature and playing amusing team games all make for unforgettable memories.

Our driving force is satisfied customers. Our staff are lively and good humoured. Schedules are kept and our programmes run smoothly, in a relaxed manner.

SE-Action understands our common responsibilities. This means that we carry out all our operations in the most sustainable, environmentally-sound manner possible. By offering an arena in which activities can be enjoyed together, we support the well-being of children, young people and families. Everyone who participates can feel successful.

Sustainable tourism and environmental protection

SE-Action offers adventure services that are nature friendly - canoeing and kayaking, not all-terrain vehicles. During our canoeing trips, we do not go ashore or make fires whenever or wherever we feel like it, but only in locations designed for these activities. On our hiking trips, we use the same paths. We recommend that our customers travel together by coach or minibus rather than separately using private vehicles. Whenever possible, we use locally-sourced ingredients in the food we prepare, thus supporting local food producers.
Our cottages in Purnus Jokilaakso are heated using wood and air heat pumps. Windows are triple-glazed, lights are of an energy-saving design and some of the taps also help to reduce the amounts of water used. We recycle organic waste by composting it.

Quality and safety

SE-Action is part of the Laatutonni quality programme, the criteria for which are taken from those used for international quality awards. Laatutonni includes regular checks of our event services and safety routines.

Local cooperation

We cooperate with other companies providing leisure-time services in Siuntio and all parts of the Helsinki metropolitan region. The archipelago trips organised by Porkkala Travel contribute to the livelihoods of people who live on the islands. Trips are made with small groups, observing the principles of sustainable tourism. We operate in ways that support local suppliers.
